Senior Copywriter

Title: Sr. Copywriter
Reports to: Executive Creative Director
Seniority Level: Senior
Type: Full-Time

We’re looking for a copywriter with 7-10 years agency experience. In addition to your passion for writing, you’ll need strong conceptual skills for multi-channel marketing projects - working closely with an Art Director, other team members or on your own. Strong understanding of Shopper Marketing and digital is a must. Your portfolio should showcase versatility in all forms of copy, with a proven ability to envision and execute creative solutions in a variety of different mediums. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:  

  • Generate concepts and execute creative projects working with various AD’s/CD’s and the ECD.

  • Excellent creative, conceptual, critical thinking abilities and attention to detail.

  • Write copy for a variety of channels including print, POS, Shopper Marketing/Retail, Radio, Digital & Social Media that is compelling and grammatically clean - long form & short form copy as well as effective headlines, tag-lines, and calls to action.

  • Work closely with Art Directors to ensure consistency of tone and to perform concept development and providing strategic input across a variety of marketing initiatives.

  • Ability to produce results independently and as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Participate in collaborative ideation sessions. 


  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and pro-actively manage priorities effectively.

  • Work closely with Creative Operations and Account teams to ensure campaigns are on-brief and delivered in a timely manner. 


  • Ensure quality of deliverables for handoff to development and production.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients. 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

  • Degree or Diploma preferably in English or Communications

  • 7-10 years of full time agency experience

  • Strong understanding of the creative process

  • Team player

  • Excellent communication skills

  • A strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts

  • Confidence interacting with clients and internal staff alike

  • Ability to work under pressure
