We are looking for a Bookkeeper to fill an immediate opening.
The Bookkeeper is responsible for invoicing, receivables, payables, bank and credit card reconciliation, month end closing, WIP, cash management and reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Uses our internal system to account for financial transactions
Maintains accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
Balances accounts by reconciling entries.
Maintains general ledger by transferring account summaries.
Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
Maintains historical records by filing documents.
Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Complies with legal requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
Consistently demonstrate ability to successfully solve problems whenever challenges or concerns arise
Work well with and demonstrate respect for colleagues at all levels and consistently contribute to a positive work environment
Work with deadlines as set by team leads

Strong written and verbal communications skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
An understanding of estimate and budget development
Excellent time and calendar management skills
Adaptable in fast-paced and pressured environments while remaining proactive, resourceful and efficient
Exceptional attention to detail
High level of professionalism and confidentiality
Follow all standard agency policies and procedures
Workamajig experience would be a great asset

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field preferred with a minimum 1-3 years in a high volume, fast paced customer service department, or account/agency background with proven project management skills
