Brandfire Marketing Group is looking for an experienced Digital Strategy Manager to fill an immediate opening as part of our digital team.
You're a strategic thinker who can develop digital marketing plans and also manage paid, owned and earned media campaigns. You’re extremely passionate about the digital landscape, especially performance and social media, and have a deep understanding of digital media from search and mobile, to social and e-commerce. You’re analytical, understand digital campaign measurement and aren’t afraid to get into the numbers.
You can think big picture, but are also driven by being hands-on with your clients' work. You’re looking for a challenging role where you’ll be an integral player in a dynamic and growing department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Lead and collaborate on the development of integrated digital marketing strategies and solutions for clients. A deep understanding of the role of digital and various forms of digital is necessary, including: paid media, social media, search, analytics, web/mobile, e-commerce, CRM and marketing automation.
Lead and oversee the campaign strategy and management of all paid, owned and earned media.
Manage vendor relations (media, content, publishers, influencers) to deliver on campaign objectives, timing and budgets.
Design the measurement framework and KPIs of all digital campaigns based on clients’ desired outcome. Define and implement A/B testing methodology and framework to identify conversion drivers that result in optimal campaign performance.
Demonstrate a superior understanding of the Canadian digital and social landscape and update broader team on emerging trends in the industry.
Participate in client presentations and support new business pitches specific to digital, social strategies, research, campaign analysis, etc.
Be a digital subject matter expert to internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, partners and vendors.
Exercise financial and organizational discipline: help manage budgets to ensure agency profitability.
Coaching, developing and mentoring junior team members – lead direct report(s) in planning and execution.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
4+ years of agency experience in a digital strategy/campaign management role, with a strong emphasis on paid media and social media.
Experience in developing and managing digital campaigns of varying sizes.
Strong proficiency in paid media (search, display, programmatic, mobile, video) platforms and social media platforms; nice-to-haves: Google Ads and Analytics certifications, Google Tag Manager (conversion tracking).
Skilled at analyzing data, deriving insights and building creative output to meet client objectives.
Genuine curiosity about how technology and innovation affects how we communicate and evolves social behaviours.
Excellent cross-functional leadership, presentation and communication skills; dynamic team player.
Strong interpersonal abilities to effectively manage all internal and external relationships, including clients, vendors and agency partners.
Ability to be flexible in a changing work environment and work well under pressure.
